Question 1: Once you have a minimal path, what appears to be true about the incoming angle and the outgoing angle?
The best way to put the fire out is by having the distance 11.1. That is the shortest distance from the camper to the tent. Angle A is 28.72 degrees and Angle B 29.02. This will take up less time to put the burning tent out.
Question 2: Why is the path from points Camper to TentFire' the shortest path? Briefly explain. (Think about the shortest distance between two points.)
Its the shortest path because its going from The middle of the situation. Its near the same distance as running from the camper then running to the tent. This way is faster because the distance to the tent from the river is 4.8.
Question 3: Where should the point River be located in relation to segment Camper to TentFire' and line AB so that the sum of the distances is minimized?
The reason for that is because you can run from Angle A and run to from Angle B makes for the shortest distance. Not only because its acute angle which makes short and fast to get from the river to the tent.
GGB Snail Trail
Snail Trail Reflection
To construct the “snail trail” you must first use an icon called “circle with center through point.” when you create that then you Hide point B which will show up when you make the Circle. Then you make a different point that labels point C. After making point C make it at a 60 degree angle from point A. Once you do that Point C’ will show up on your screen. Once you do that repeat the process till you have point C”’. Once you do that then make lines that connect with all the C points. All of them should go through point A. Once you do that make a point in the middle of one of the triangles that make up the now divided line. Once you do that click the check box. Once you put all the points in that box use the reflection button and it will reflect the point. Then go to the point property and change the color off all the points. Start to drag the point you make first and it will make a snail trail.
What I noticed about the snail trail is that if you slowly drag the point then you can make a solid line that doesn't consist of little rings that look like chains. As far as the symmetry goes it is copying what ever you drawing with the original point. If you ignore the color I think you would get this really random thing that isn't as pretty. It all depends on how you make it.
